The actress Anne Brochet completed an acting education at the Cours Florent and at the Conservatoire National d'Art dramatique. Afterwards she began her film career with a role in the serial "Cinéma 16: Le bal d'Irène" (86).
 
Already one year later she impersonated her first leading role in "Masques" (87) and in the next years she became established in the French film business. 
To her other movies of the 80s belong "La maison assassinée" (88) and "Tolérance" (89).
 
In the 90s followed other engagements in front of the camera and she took part in "Cyrano de Bergerac" (90) with Gerard Depardieu, "Toud les matins du monde" (91), for which she was awarded with the César for the best support actress, "Du fond du coeur" (94), "Driftwood" (97) and "Une journée de merde!" (99).
 
to her latest cinematical works belong "Dust" (01), "Histoire de Marie et Julien" (03), "Les bottes" (04), "Les irréductibles" (06), "Poison d'Avril" (07), "Le hérisson" (09) and "La rafle" (10).
 
Besides her acting career Anne Brochet also realised a movie as a director called "Jacques Doillon - Les mots, l'émotion" (98).
