Erich Briese

The actor Erich Briese began his film career in 1914 with "Der Prinzenraub" (14) directed by Stellan Rye with Hugo Flink and Carl Ebert.
It followed the productions "Das Haus ohne Tür" (14) again from Stellan Rye with Paul Biensfeldt, Theodor Loos and Karl Harbacher and Urban Gad's "Der breite Weg" (16) with Olga Engl and Hans Adalbert Schlettow.

In the silent movie era of the 20s followed few more appearances in front of the camera with "Gib mich frei" (24) Playing the role of captain Neuendorf with Carl Auen, Karl Elzer, Grete Reinwald and Anna von Palen and as minister Graf Finkenstein "Der alte Fritz" (28) directed by Gerhard Lamprecht at the side of Otto Gebühr, Julia Serda, Elsa Wagner, Dina Gralla and Grit Haid.

In 1934 followed Erich Briese's only sound film "Wenn ich König wär" (34) with Camilla Horn, Viktor de Kowa, Paul Westermeier, Eugen Rex, Paul Rehkopf and Josef Reithofer.
