1899 - 1956
The actress Edyth Edwards began her short film career in the silent movie era with the movie "Seine Frau, die Unbekannte" (23). It followed "Der verlorene Schuh" (23), "Mater dolorosa" (24) "Pietro, der Korsar" (25) and "Die Frau, nach der man sich sehnt" (29).
But she applied her real passion to the theater where she continued
her career successfully in the next decades.
When Edyth Edwards suffered a stroke she wasn't able to speak right and her career was finished with one blow. Shortly afterwards she died in Berlin.
