The actor Arthur Kraussneck was a popular stage actor in the 19th century who took part in his first movie when he was 64 years old.

His first appearances were in the productions "Die Todeskarawane" (20) and "Das Mädchen aus der Ackerstrasse, 2. Teil" (20).
He became a demanded support actor in the following years whose acting abilities were put into action with pleasure.

To his well-known movies of the 20's belong "Die Abenteuerin von Monte Carlo" (21), "Mein Leopold" (24), "Die Todgeweihten" (24), "Die Weber" (27), "Maria Stuart" (27) and "Der grosse Unbekannte/Der Unheimliche" (27).
