The actor Borwin Walth was born as Boris von Warlich in St. Petersburg. He was able to impersonate several small roles in movies from the end of the 20s.

Still during the silent movie era he acted in the movies "Venus im Frack" (27), "Die rollende Kugel"(27) and Fritz Lang's "Frau im Mond" (29).

Borwin Walth took part in well-known productions in the sound film era too, among others again for Fritz Lang in "M - Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder" (31) but also in "Der verlorene Sohn" (34) with Luis Trenker, "Boccaccio" (36), "Eine Frau ohne Bedeutung" (36), "Die göttliche Jette" (37), "Der Tiger von Eschnapur" (38), "Der Gouverneur" (39) and "Die Entlsassung" (42).

After the war he only appeared one more time on the big screen with "Das kleine Hofkonzert" (48). The movie was already shot before the end of World War II but only releasce in cinema in 1948.
