The actress Ruth von Wedel appeared in few silent movies at the beginning of the 20s.

She appeared in Harry Piel's "Die Geheimnisse des Zirkus Barré" (20) at the side of Siegmund Aschenbach, Friedrich Berger, Harry Piel and Fritz Schroeter, it followed the movie "Die Dorfhexe" (20) with Julius Brandt and Cilli Bauer.

In her last movie "Der Dummkopf" (21) she impersonaed the role of Doris Wiegand under the direction of Lupu Pick. To her co-stars belonged Max Adalbert, Eugen Rex, Paul Heidemann, Rosa Valetti, Fritz Richard, Frida Richard and Wilhelm Diegelmann.
