The actress Dorothy Batley was a much demanded child actress in the 10's.
She made her film debut at the age of 8 with the production "The Trail" (10).

It followed other movies like "Three Little Orphans" (14), "War Is Hell" (15), "The Great Red War" (16) and "The Sins of Youth" (19).

After that she retired from the film business. Only in the 50's she made a short comeback with the movies "The Angel with the Trumpet" (50) with Maria Schell and Oskar Werner and "The Rossiter Case" (51)

Dorothy Batley was married with the actor and director Guy Newall.
