. The Danish actor Carl Brisson was a boxer before he entered a film career. He made his film debut in his home country in 1918 with "De mystiske fodspor", after that he devoted again to the theater. It lastet till to the middle of the 20's before he acted again in front of the camera, this time in England. To his movies belong Alfred Hitchcock's "The Ring" (27), "The American Prisoner" (29) and "The Manxman" (29), again directed by Hitchcock. In the sound film era he only appeared in few more movies, so in "Song
of Soho" (30), "Prince of Arcadia" (33) and "Murder at the Vanities" (34),
directed by Mitchell Leisen.
