Begonnen hatte sie ihre Laufbahn bereits 1915 mit "The Lamb" (15) und "Don Quixote" (15). Es folgten "His Last Laugh" (16), "The Woman God Forgot" (17), "Sandy" (18), "The Squaw Man" (18), "Venus in the East" (19) und "Male and Female" (19).

Ihre erfolgreichste Zeit folgte in den 20er Jahren, wo sie in unzähligen Filmen mitwirkte. Dazu gehören "Forbidden Fruit" (21), "The Snob" (21), "Fool's Paradise" (21), "Manslaughter" (22), "The Ten Commandments" (23), "Hell's Highroad" (25), "The King of Kings" (27), "His Dog" (27) und "The Godless Girl" (29).

Ab den 30er Jahren wurden ihre Rollen kleiner, dennoch wirkte sie weiter in vielen Filmen mit.
