The actress Clare Greet was a well-known stage actress who took part in some very popular film productions in the 20's and 30's.

Especially director Alfred Hitchcock engaged her for support roles time and again, among others for his first work "Number 13" (22).
Other movies with Alfred Hitchcock were "The Ring" (27), "The Manxman" (29), "Murder!" (30), "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (34), "Sabotage" (36) and "Jamaica Inn" (39).

Besides her movies with Hitchcock she also took part in other well-known productions. To these silent movies belong "Love at the Wheel" (21) and "Der Farmer aus Texas" (25) as well as the talkies "Alibi" (31), "White Face" (32), "Mrs. Dane's Defence" (32), "Channel Crossing" (33), "Emil and the Detectives" (35) and "Royal Eagle" (36).
