Norman McKinnell

. The actor Norman McKinnell appeared already in 1899 in front of the camera for the first time when he acted in the play "King John". But it lasted 17 years till he launched his second career as a movie actor beside his stage activity. To his first movies belong "The Shulamite" (16), "Mary Girl" (17) and "Hindle Wakes" (18). In den 20's followed only few more movies, among them "A Gamble in Lives" (20), "The Fake" (27) and "Downhill" (27). His last cinematical works came in the early 30's into being with "The
Outsider" (31), "The Sleeping Cardinal" (31) and "White Face" (32). In
the same year he died because of a heart disease.
