The actor George H. Mulcaster began his film career in 1918 with "God
Bless Our Red, White and Blue" (18).
In the 20's followed other appearances in front of the camera, among
them "The Pipes of Pan" (23), "The Wonderful Wooing" (25) and "Sacrifice"
(29).
The theater was his preferred field in all those years yet he had the
time to impersonate interesting roles in the talkies too.
To his well-known movies of the 30's and 40's belong "Inquest" (31),
"The River House Mystery" (35), "The Lion Has Wings" (39), "Night Train
to Munich" (40),"The Patient Vanishes" (41), "For You Alone" (46), "Bonnie
Prince Charlie" (48) and "Under Capricorn" (49).
In his last decades he took part in few more productions like "Maria
Chapdelaine" (50), "Lady of Vengeance" (57) and "Downfall" (64).
