The actress Alice Ray first appeared in movies from the middle of the 10's. To her first movies belong "The Children in the House" (16), "The Brazen Beauty" (18), "The Eyes of Julia Deep" (18) and "La belle Russe" (19).

In the 20's followed her last cinematical works and she took part in the productions "The Willow Tree" (20), "The Little Wanderer" (20), "On the High Card" (21) and "Silk Stocking Sal" (24).

Alice Ray was married with the well-known director Tod Browning from 1911 to 1944.
