. The actress Enid Stamp Taylor conquered the British big screen from the end of the 20's. To her first movies belong "Remembrance" (27), "Cocktails" (28) with the comedian duo Pat & Patachon, "Easy Virtue" (28) directed by Alfred Hitchcock and "The Broken Melody" (29). She experienced the height of her film career in the 30's and she impersonated numerous roles in productions like "Meet My Sister" (33), "The Feathered Serpent" (34), "Jimmy Boy" (35), "Underneath the Arches" (37), "Action for Slander" (37), "Blondes for Danger" (38) and "Climbing High" (38). Till her early death followed other movies like "The Farmer's Wife" (41), "Alibi" (42), "The Wicked Lady" (45) and "Caravan" (46). Enid Stamp Taylor caught fatal injury by a fall at the age of 42.
