Kenneth Nakada gehört heute zu den führenden Filmschaffenden im
Bereich Spezialeffekte, der auch mit seiner Hintergrundmalerei grosse
Anerkennung findet.
Begonnen hatte seine Laufbahn bei
Illusion Arts in Van Nuys, Kalifornien und er feierte sein Filmdebüt
1996 mit "The Sunchaser" (96), dem schon bald Grossproduktionen wie
"Star Trek: First Contact" (96), "Batman & Robin" (97), "The Mask
of Zorro" (98) und "Bowfinger" (99) folgten.
In den
letzten Jahren festigte er seinen Ruf als Könner seines Fachs und er
stattete erfolgreiche Filme wie "The Fast and the Furious" (01), "The
Scorpion King" (02), "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" (03), "The
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (03), "The Matrix Revolutions" (03),
"Peter Pan" (03), "The Passion of the Christ" (04), "Van Helsing" (04),
"Apocalypto" (06), "Leatherheads" (08), "Valkyrie" (08), "Avatar" (09),
"The Tree of Life" (10) und "Life of Pi" (12) mit visuellen Effekten
aus.
