. The actress Beatrice Altariba began her career with appearances in revues and at musical theaters before she entered the film business at the young age of 17 with "Pardonnez nos offenses" (56). She was able to get some more roles in the same year and with it launched a film career which lasted till to the end of the 60s. During this time she not only took part in French movies but also acted in Italian productions. To her movies of the 50s belong "L'homme et l'enfant" (56), "Club de femmes" (56), "Les triporteur" (57), "Les violents" (57), "Les misérables" (58) and "Le temps des oeufs durs" (58). In the 60s the symphatetic actress could be seen in movies like "Les yeux sans visage" (60), "A porte chiuse" (61), "Un nommé La Rocca" (61), "The Young Racers" (63), "Toto diabolicus" (63), "Les gorilles" (64), "Et la femme créa l'amour" (66), "Caroline chérie" (68) and "Une corde, un Colt..." (69). Beatrice Altariba was the niece of the poet Paul Fort.
