. The actor André Berley was already very successful at the theater when he entered the film business in 1928 and took part in the productions "La passion de Jeanne d'Arc" (28) and "Hara-Kiri" (28). André Berley went to the USA in 1930 where he appeared in French versions of American movies of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. To these movies belong "Le spectre vert" (30), "Le petit café" (31), "Buster se marie" (31) with the legendary Buster Keaton, "Jenny Lind" (32) and "Quand on est belle" (32). After his return to France followed many other movies like "Prisonnier de mon coeur" (32), "La perle" (32), "Caravane" (34), "La veuve joyeuse" (35), "Juanita" (35), "Trois jours de perm'" (36) and "Monsieur Personne" (36). André Berley could not witness the representation of his last movie "La maison d'en face" (37) directed by Christian-Jaque. He died at the age of 46 in 1936. Other movies with André Berley:
