The actress Romane Bohringer was born as the daughter of actor Richard Bohringer. In spite of this huge burden she was able to make a name as an actress and she was free from the shadow of her father.

She made her film debut with "Foie suisse" (85), afterwards followed the movie "Kamikaze" (86). The breakthrough came with "Les nuites fauves" (92) and "L'accompagnatrice" (92).

She became a demanded actress and she impersonated very different roles in productions like "Mina Tannenbaum" (94), "Le colonel Chabert" (94), "Total Eclipse" (95), "L'appartement" (96), "Le ciel est à nous" (97), "Vigo" (98) and "Rembrandt" (99).

To her latest movies belong "The King Is Alive" (00), "Deux femmes à Paris" (00), "Aurélien" (03), "L'éclaireur" (04) and "C'est beau une ville la nuit" (06).
