The actress Simone Bourday was born as Simone Edmondo Lourdelet in Raincy.
She already made her film debut at the age of 17 with "Le crime de Sylvestre Bonnard" (29) which was the beginning of an intensive but few years lasting film career.
Simone Bourday became a demanded actress of the French film from 1930 and took part in numerous productions.
To these movies belong "Pirates et compagnie" (30), "Au bonheur des dames" (30), "Mon ami Victor" (31), "Le rosier de Madame Husson" (32), "La vois sans visage" (33), "Roi de Camargue" (34) and "Tout va très bien madame la marquise" (36).
When Simone Bourday came down with tuberculosis she had to cut down occupationally and she acted only in one more movie called "Après Mein Kampf mes crimes" (40).
She died at the age of onyl 31 in 1943.
