1882 - 1951

To his first movies belong "L'homme aimanté" (07), "Le printemps" (09), "La tara" (11), "Bébé et le vieux marcheur" (12), "Bébé et ses grand-parents" (12) and "Les bretelles" (13).

From 1913 followed some movies with the figure of Fantômas in which Edmond Bréon impersonated inspector Juve. To these movies belong "Fantômas - A l'ombre de la guillotine" (13), "Juve contre Fantômas" (13), "Le mort qui tue" (13), "Fantômas contre Fantômas" (14) and "Le faux magistrat" (14).
To his other numerous silent movies belong "La petite danseuse" (13), "Bout-de-Zan et le crocodile" (13), "Les somnambules" (14), "Severo Torelli" (14), "Les vampires" (15), "Le nocturne" (19) and "Barrabas" (19).

After that his activity in front of the camera diminished, in the 20's he only appeared in "L'ecuyère" (22) and "A Little Bit of Fluff" (28), his first British production.

Edmond Bréon took part again in countless movies from the 30's, most in British ones, among them well-known productions like Howard Hawks' "The Dawn Patrol" (30), "Uneasy Virtue" (31), "Born to Love" (31), "Three Men in a Boat" (33), "Waltz Time" (33), "The Private Life of Don Juan" (34), "The Scarlet Pimpernel" (34) with Leslie Howard, "Premiere" (36), "A Yank at Oxford" (38) and "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" (39).

His last cinematical works came in the 40's into being, e.g. "The Outsider" (40), "The Lodger" (44), "Gaslight" (44) with Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman, "The Hour Before the Dawn" (44), "The Woman in the Window" (45), "The Corn is Green" (45), "Dressed to Kill" (46), "Forever Amber" (47), "Rope of Sand" (49) and "Challenge to Lassie" (49).

Just before his death he acted in the movies "The Thing From Another World" (51) and "At Sword's Point" (52).
