. The actor Roger Champi who often was credited as Champi began his acting career at the theater. He entered the film business only in 1941 and took part few movies during the next years, among them "Notre Dame de la Mouise" (41), directed by Robert Péguy, "Montmartre-sur-Seine" (41) with Edith Piaf, Jean-Louis Barrault, Paul Meurisse and Roger Duchesne, "Ce n'est pas moi" (41) with Victor Boucher and Ginette Leclerc, "Le moussaillon" (42) with Roger Duchesne and Lucien Gallas and "Huit hommes dans un château" (42) with René Dary and Jacqueline Gauthier. It followed a longer interruption before he took part in his last movie in 1952 - "Le crime du Bouif" (52) with Pierre Jourdan. |
