The actor Maxime Desjardins was a famous stage actor who had great successes at the Comédie française.

He made his film debut at the end of the 10's and took part in some very successful productions in the next years.
To his well-known movies belong "Les trois mousquetaires" (21), "Vingt ans après" (22), "Nantas" (24), "Le bossu" (25) and "Martyre" (26).

Maxime Desjardins also appeared in few talkies, among others in "Le mystère de la chambre jaune" (30), "Atlantis" (30) and "Le coffret de laque" (32).
