. The actress Annie Ducaux began her film career in 1932 with "Coup de feu à l'aube" (32). She became established in the next years especially with dramatic roles. To these movies belong "Un grand amour de Beethoven" (36), "L'affaire Lafarge" (38) and "Conflits" (39). In the 40's followed other well-known productions like "Tempête" (40), "L'inévitable M. Dubois" (43), "Patrie" (46) and "La patronne" (49), in doing so there were also some roles in comedies too. She joined the Comédie Française in 1946 and impersonated many classical roles, besides it she also appeared at the modern theater. She only took part sporadically in movies from the 50's. To her last
movies belong "Le roi" (50), "Les grandes familles" (58), "La belle Américaine"
(61), "Electre" (72), "Les femmes savantes" (72) and an episode of the
serial "Les enquêtes du commissaire Maigret: Maigret et l'ambassadeur"
(80).
