Robert Etcheverry

The actor Robert Etcheverry began his career at the Comédie-Française before he entered the film business at the beginning of the 60's.
He made his film debut with "La fille du torrent" (61), it followed "Le rouge et le noir" (61), "Pierrot des alouettes" (64), "Le golem" (67) and the serial "Gorri le diable" (68).

He experienced the height of his career in the 70's and he impersonated some roles in very popular TV serials like "Poly" (72) and especially the serial "Arpad le tzigane" (73), which made him also famous outside of France.
Other movies of those years are "La révélation" (73) and the serial "Fachoda" (77).

Afterwards his popularity diminished a little but he was still playing interesting roles in productions like "La légion saute sur Kolwezi" (80), "Irène et Fred" (84), the serial "La chaine" (88) and "Au bord de la nuit" (91).
