. The actress Alice Field had her first film appearances already as a child at the age of 12 in "The Old Clothes Shop" (15), six years later followed few mor silent movies like "Villa Destin" (21). In the sound film era of the 30s she took part in numerous successful productions like "Atlantis" (30), "Le refuge" (31), "Théodore et Cie" (33), "La femme nue" (33), "La cinquième empreinte" (34), "L'assaut" (36), "L'amour veille" (37), "Le tigre du Bengale" (38) and "Le tombeau hindou" (38). During World War II she only appeared in few more movies, among them "La loi du printemps" (42) and "Finance noire" (43). She was able to continue her film career after the war and she normally
impersonated smaller roles in movies like "Hyménée" (47),
"Un certain monsieur" (50), "Georges Dandin" (59), "Moi et les hommes de
40 ans" (65), "La grande vadrouille" (66) and "Playtime" (67).
