. The actor Henri Génès was able to appear in first movies during the 40s, among them "La ferme du pendu" (45) and "Plume la poule" (47). He managed his breakthrough in the 50s and he became a demanded support actor besides great French movie stars. To these movies belong "Nous irons à Paris" (50), "Les amants de Bras-Mort" (51), "Femmes de Paris" (53), "La reine Margot" (54) and "Trois de la marine" (57). Besides his acting career he also became a well-known singer too. In the 60s and 70s the chubby actor, who often acted in comedies, appeared in well-known productions like "Allez France! (64), "La grande vadrouille" (66), "Le petit baigneur" (68), "L'homme que vient de la nuit" (71) die Serie "La lune papa" (77), "L'animal" (77) and "Le gendarme et les extra-terrestres" (79). His last cinematical works came in the 80s and 90s into being, again with Louis de Funes with whom he already worked together in the past. They played together in total of eight movies. To Henri Génès's last movies belong "Sacrés gendarmes" (80), "Paris-Saint-Lazare" (82), "Le braconnier de Dieu" (83), "Garçon!" (83), "Liebe lässt alle Blumen blühen" (83), "Le facteur de Saint-Tropez" (85), "Le provincial" (90) and "Justinien Trouvé, ou le bâtard de Dieu" (93).
