. The actress Mona Goya was born as Simone Isabelle Marchand. She began her film career at the end of the silent movie era and took part in "Madame Récamier" (28), "Princesse Mandane" (28) and "The Lady from the Sea" (29). She impersonated numerous roles in the 30s in well productions like "The Flame of Love" (30), "Chérie" (30), "Buster se marie" (31), "Not So Quiet on the Western Front" (32), "Jenny Lind" (32), La banque Nemo" (34), "Juggernaut" (36), "Josette" (37), "J'étais une aventurière" (38) and "Tourbillon de Paris" (39). The 40s and 50s offered her again engaments and she acted in the movies "This Man in Paris" (40), "Défense d'aimer" (42), "Le capitaine Fracasse" (43), "La Malibran" (44), "Mandrin" (47), "Interdit au public" (49), "Jamais deux sans trois" (51), "Rencontre à Paris" (56), "Miss Pigalle" (58) and "Les amants de demain" (59).
