. The actor Jean Granier launched his film career in the 30s but this career remained restricted to this decade. He made his film debut with "Marions-nous" (31) at Pierre Etchepare's side, afterwards followed appearances in "Delphine" (31) with Henri Garat and Alice Cocéa as well as "Il est charmant" (32) with Meg Lemmonier, Henri Garat and Louis Baron fils. After an interruption of seven years he continued his career in front of the camera but retired already in 1939. To his last movies belong "Mirages" (38) with Arletty, Michel Simon and Jean-Louis Barrault, "Un de la lune" (39), directed by André Hugon and "La famille Duraton" (39) with Noël-Noël and Jules Berry. Jean Granier also wrote the script for the last mentioned movie. |
