The actress Chiara Mastroianni was born as the daughter of two movie stars, the actress Catherine Deneuve and the actor Marcello Mastroianni. 
Despite this unattainable appearing examples she wasn't afraid of becoming an actress too and she mastered this challenge brilliantly.

After her first cinematical appearance at the age of seven for "A nous deux" (79) she began her professional acting career in 19931 with "Ma saison préférée – Meine liebste Jahreszeit". 

She became established in the film business in the next years and took part in the productions "Prêt-à-Porter" (94), "N'oublie pas que tu vas mourir" (95), "Le journal du séducteur" (96), "Les voleurs" (96), "Nowhere" (97) and "La lettre" (99). 

To her latest movies belong "Six-Pack" (00), "Carnages" (02), "L'heure zéro" (07) and "Les chansons d'amour" (07).
