Mauricet

. The actor Mauricet was born as Georges Maurice Renutn. His first cinematical appearance can be back-dated to the year 1909 with "La vengeance du coiffeur" (09). It followed "Conférence sur l'alcoolisme par Rigadin" (12) - in both movies he appeared under the pseudonym Moricey. It followed a longer interruption before he appeared again in movies from 1931, this time under the pseudonym Mauricet. To his movies of the 30s belong "La chauve-souris" (31), "Le truc du Brésilien" (32), "La belle aventure" (32), "Les surprises du divorce" (33) and "Du haut en bas" (33). Again Mauricet retreated from the film business again and it lasted nearly 20 years before he made his second comeback. To his last cinematical works belong "Mon mari est merveilleux" (52), "L'esclave" (53), "Mémoires d'un flic" (56), "La garçonne" (57), "Le grand bluff" (57) and "Le temps des copains" (63).
