. The actor Constant Rémy was doing an apprenticeship as a chemist and later joined the film production "Pathé". There he soon became an actor and he appeared at the date of origin of the medium cinema in short movies like "Benvenuto Cellini" (08), "Une mésaventure de François Premier" (11), "Oliver Cromwell" (11), "Milton" (11), "Sa Majesté la Reine" (13) and "Le collier de Paulette" (13). With the outbreak of World War I his film career came to grind to a halt, only in 1919 he could continue his film career with "Marthe" (19). His popularity increased in the 20s and he took part in numerous movies,
often at France Dhélia's side.
The transition to the sound film was not problem for the stage proofed actor and he impersonated roles in well-known productions like "Atlantis" (30), "Jean de la lune" (31), "Son autre amour" (33), "Roger la Honte" (33), "La flambée" (34), "L'agonie des aigles" (34), "Les mystères de Paris" (35), "Hélène" (36) and "Le chemin de l'honneur" (39). From the 40s Constant Remy only appeared sporadically in front of the
camera. To these movies belong "Espoirs" (43), "Monsieur des Lourdines"
(43), "Les clandestins" (46), "Si Versailles m'était conté"
(54) and "La tour de Nesle" (55).
