. The actress Dany Robin attended an education as a ballet dancer and had first public performances at the opera of Paris. She made her film debut in 1946 with "Lunegarde" (46), it followed the movies "Les portes de la nuit" (46), "Le silence est d'or" (47), "Les amoureux sont seuls au monde" (47) and "La soif des hommes" (49). She experienced the height of her career in the 50's and was regarded as a competition of Brigitte Bardot. To her well-known movies of those years belong "Mademoiselle Modiste" (51), "Elle et moi" (52), "Julietta" (53), "Tempi nostri" (54), "Napoléon" (55), "Frou-Frou" (55), "Bonsoir Paris" (56), "Mimi Pinson" (58) and "Les dragueurs" (59). After that her activity in front of the camera diminished and she only took part in few movies of the 60's. To these movies belong "Les Parisiennes" (62), "Mandrin" (62), "Sursis pour en espion" (64), "Don't Lose Your Head" (67) and "Topaz" (69). Afterwards she retired from the film business. Marchal und the producer Michael Sullivan.
