. The film composer Jean Tranchant wrote his first songs for the singer Lucienne Boyer, later followed other interpreters, among them also the legendary Marlene Dietrich with the song "Assez". He also wrote the film music for some movies in the 30s like "Fanatisme" (34) and "La marmaille" (36). His last cinematical work came in 1941 into being with "Ici l'on pêche" (41) where he not only wrote the film music but also impersonated a small role. |
