. The actor Roger Tréville launched his film career already in 1921 with the silent movie "The Rotters" (21), it followed "Sinister Street" (22) and "Cousine de France" (27). He became established as a popular actor in the French talkies in the 30's with well-known productions like "Nuits de Venise" (31), "Mirages de Paris" (32), "Runaway Ladies" (34), "Parlez-moi d'amour" (36), "Jacques et Jacotte" (36) and "Le chasseur de chez Maxim's" (39). During wartime he didn't appear in front of the camera, only after the war he continued his career with "Valse brillante" (48), "The Green Glove" (52), "La mariée est trop belle" (56) with Brigitte Bardot, "Le joueur" (58) and "Rue des Prairies" (59). His last cinematical works came in the 60's and 70's into being, among
others "How to Steal a Million" (66) with Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole,
"Geheimnisse in goldenen Nylons" (67) with Peter Lawford and the serial
"A vous de jouer Milord" (74).
