. The actress Anne Vernon began her film career at the end of the 40's with "Warning to Wantons" (48) and "Aisni finit la nuit" (49). She soon got engagements from France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain and USA. Her only movie in the USA was "Shakedown" (50), it followed international productions with "A Tale of Five Cities" (51), "Edouard et Caroline" (51), "Song of Paris" (52), "The Love Lottery" (54), "La donna piu bella del mondo" (55), "Das Fräulein von Scuderi" (55), "Bel Ami" (57), "Les suspects" (57) and "Il generale della Rovere" (59). In the 60's and 70's came her last movies into being, among them "Laura
nuda" (61), "Arsène Lupin contre Arsène Lupin" (62), "Les
parapluies de Cherbourg" (64), "Roger la Honte" (66), "Surcouf, l'eroe
dei sette mari" (66), "Le voleur" (67), the serial "Mauregard" (70) and
the serial "Pont dormant" (72).
