. The actress Erna Alberty was able to launch a film career at the beginning of the silent movie era which covered few years. She already appeared in 1914 in her first movie called "Die Diva in Nöten" (14) with Albert Paulig and Toni Impekoven. In the next years followed other roles in productions like "Er steigt nach" (15) with Otto Treptow, "Der schwarze Moritz" (16) with Ernst Lubitsch and Hanns Kräly, "Ballzauberf" (17) with Hans Wassmann, Josefine Dora and Ferry Sikla and "Sie können bei mir schlafen" (19) with Richard Senius and directed by William Karfiol.
