Ida Andorffy

. The actress Ida Andorffy began her film career in Hungary where the took part in many silent movies from 1916. To these works belong "A falu rossza" (16), "Lili" (18), "Timar Liza" (18), "Leanyvasar" (18) and "A lavina" (19). At the beginning of the 20s came her last cinematical works into being with "Harom par facipö" (20) and "A bostonville-i kaland" (20). In 1922 she impersonated the title role in the German silent movie "Mignon" (22), afterwards followed her last movie "Krawattenmacher - Der Wucherer von Berlin" (22). She was married with the journalist Ivan Faludi. Her father was the stage actor Peter Andorffy (his civil name was Peter Krug) and lives from 1856 to 1919.
