. The actress and singer Anny Ann was born as Anna Margarete Amalie Litschauer in Cologne. She got singing lessons by Emmy Klébčr-Grund and afterwards she started her artistic career as a soubrette at the German Künstlertheater in Berlin. From 1929 she also appeared in front of the camera from time to time and she impersonated roles in well-known productions like "Der rote Kreis" (29), "Lumpenball" (30), "So'n Windhund" (31), "Knockout" (35) and "Amphitryon" (35). After her marriage to Prince André Galitzin, she moved to Paris with her husband and retired from the film business. The couple later lived in Vienna. She died in Vienna on August 14, 2004.
