. The actress Maria Asti took part in few silent movies of the 20s. Her first movie was "Der Fürst der Berge" (21) directed by Harry Piel with Harry Piel, Alfred Kühne, Sascha Gura and Charly Berger. In the next years followed other movies, among them Harry Piel's "Das verschwundene Haus" (22) with Harry Piel, Charly Berger, Albert Paulig, Hermann Picha, Karl Platen, Fritz Rasp and Frida Richard, playing the role of Christina Landrolet "Das Spielzeug von Paris" (25) directed by Michael Curtiz at the side of Lili Damita, Henry Treville, Hermann Thimig, Hans Moser, Eric Barclay, Theo Shall, Maria Fein and Traute Carlsen, "Bewzinger der 1000 Gefahren" (27) directed by Harry Piel with Harry Piel, Fritz Russ, Alfred Kühne, Sascha Gura and Charly Berger and again for Harry Piel as Mimi in "Die Mitternachts-Taxe" (29) with Harry Piel, Betty Bird, Philipp Manning, Hermann Böttcher, Bruno Ziener, Albert Paulig and Aruth Wartan. |
