. The actress Roma Bahn already began her film career in 1919 with an entrance in "Der Mädchenhirt" (19). It followed "Die Verwandlung" (20) and "Von morgens bis Mitternacht" (20). But in the next years especially the stages became a very grateful place. Her greatest success in the 20's was her role as Polly Peachum in the first night of "Die Dreigroschenoper" in 1928. Bertolt Brecht's play became the greatest theater success of the 20's at all. Roma Bahn continued her film career successfully in the 30's and took
part in many well-known movies till 1945.
She continued her career in the war time undiminished and impersonated roles in movies like "Alles Schwindel" (40), "Annelie" (41), "Frau Luna" (41), "Maske in Blau" (42), "Die Entlassung" (42), "Altes Herz wird wieder jung" (43) and "Um neun kommt Harald" (44). Her cineatical activity dropped off after the war. To her last productions
belong "0 Uhr 15, Zimmer 9" (50), "Wie einst Lili Marleen" (56), "Gestehen
Sie, Dr. Corda!" (58) and "Der Mann aus Melbourne" (66).
