The actress Maria Beling was able to launch a short film career in the 30's. She made her film debut with "Schwarzwaldmädel" (33), it followed "Gern hab ich die Frauen geküsst" (34) with Theo Lingen and Adele Sandrock, "Eine Frau, die weiss, was sie will" (34) and "Verlieb Dich nicht am Bodensee" (35).

Afterwards followed a longer interruption before she appeared again in front of the camera for "Liebesgeschichten" (43).
