The actress Katja Bennefeld had only a short career in German movies which concentrated to the 30's.
To her well-known movies belong "Die beiden Seehunde" (34), "Das Mädchen Johanna" (35), "Der Tiger von Eschnapur" (38), "Wasser für Canitoga" (38) and "Brand im Ozean" (39).

With the break out of World War II she retired from the film business.
