To his earliest movies belong "Jön az öcsém" (19), "Meriota, die Tänzerin" (21), "Ssanin" (24) and "Der Fluch" (25). 

From 1926 he appeared in several movies in the USA, including "The Love Thief" (26), "The Flaming Forest" (26) and "Butterflies in the Rain" (26), where he acted at Laura La Plante's side (see the picture on the left).

The sound film reduced his field of activity because of the language zones. He played often again for Hungarian pictures like "A kek balvany" (31) and "Iza néni" (33), but had also an appearance in Fritz Lang's classic "Das Testament des Dr. Mabuse" (33) as Dr. Baum.
