In the 20's followed more engagements in movies like "Der geheime Agent" (24), "Krieg im Frieden" (25), "Der moderne Casanova" (28) and "Ehe in Not" (29).

Trude Berliner experienced the height of her career in the 30's although she had only few years in which she could appear in talkies before she had to flee abroad from the National Socialists because she was a Jewess.

To her well-known movies of the 30's belong "Masken" (30), "Ich heirate meinen Mann" (31), "Der Hochtourist" (31), "Die unsichtbare Front" (32), "Grossstadtnacht" (32) and "Kaiserwalzer" (33).

She wasn't able to continue her career in the USA. She only impersonated three small roles but with her appearance as a Baccarat player in the cult movie "Casablanca" (42) she took part in a great production.
Other movies in the US were "The Strange Death of Adolf Hitler" (43) and "The Dolly Sisters" (45).
In order to earn a living she worked among others in the pottery of the also emigrated actor Ernst Verebes and administrated a date farm.
