. The actress Käte Bierkowsky was active as a stage actress primarily, she only appeared very seldom in movies. Her first performance in front of teh camera was for the production "Versprich mir nichts" (37), directed by Wolfgang Liebeneiner. Her film partners were Viktor de Kowa, Luise Ullrich, Heinrich George, Hubert von Meyerinck and Will Dohm. With "Grossstadtmelodie" (43) followed her last movie already, again directed by Wolfgang Liebeneiner. She impersonated the role of Mrs. Stirner. Her counterparts were Werner Hinz, Hilde Krahl, Paul Henckels and Beppo Brem. Käte Bierkowsky was married with the actor Fritz Holl. |
