In her first movie "Schach der Eva" (34) she played the role of Gabriele at the side of Ludwig Schmid-Wildy and Erna Jaus, she was Betty Thompson in "Alles hört auf mei Kommando" with Adele Sandrock, Marianne Hoppe, Wolfgang Liebeneiner, Georg Alexander and Emmy Wyda, it followed Geza von Bolvary's "Winternachtstraum" (35) with Magda Schneider, Wolf Albach-Retty, Hans Moser, Theo Lingen, Hubert von Meyerinck and Erik Ode, she appeared as Beatrice Amati in "Stradivari" (35) with Gustav Fröhlich, Sybille Schmitz, Harald Paulsen, Albrecht Schoenhals, Theodor Loos, Veit Harlan and Hans Leibelt, she impersonated the role of Irene Hart in "Vergiss mein nicht" (35) with Benjamino Gigli, Peter Bosse, Kurt Vespermann, Magda Schneider, Siegfried Schürenberg and Erik Ode and she played Yvonne in Geza von Bolvary's "Es flüstert die Liebe" (35) at the side of Gustav Fröhlich, Hedwig Bleibtreu, Blandine Ebinger, Tibor von Halmay, Hubert von Meyerinck, Hilde von Stolz, Fritz Imhoff and Annie Rosar.

In her last movie "Abenteuer in Warschau" (38) she acted as Ines Costello at the side of Georg Alexander, Paul Klinger, Rudolf Carl and Robert Dorsay.

Hedda Björnson was married with the actor Heinz Suhr.
