The actress and dancer Lilo Bergen was born as Marie Helene Liselotte Schlitzberger in Küstrin.

She made her stage debut as a dancer at the Komische Oper in Berlin, it followed engagements at other stages in Berlin.

Although in Berlin she made her film debut and she impersonated numerous roles in the 30s. Among them „Geheimnis eines alten Hauses“ (36), „Daphne und der Diplomat“ (37), „Die gelbe Flagge“ (37), „Rätsel um Beate“ (38), „Was tun, Sybille?“ (38) and „Mann für Mann“ (39).

Her last cinmatical works came at the beginning of the 40s into being with „Polterabend“ (40) and „Das himmelblaue Abendkleid“ (41).

Lilo Bergen was only rarely active as an artist after the war. She played a small role in the movie „Der Rat der Götter“ (50) and she acted at the Neues Berliner Theater as well as at the Atrium-Operetten-Gastspielbühne in the 50s.
