The actor Alexej Bondireff was born as Alexey Pavlovich Bondyrev.

He entered the film business in the middle of the 20s in the French silent film. To his first appearances belong "Les aventures de Robert Macaire" (25), "600'000 francs par mois" (26), "Le vertige" (26), "Muche" (27) and "Maldone" (28).

Afterwards he joined the German silent film and he impersonated roles in movies like "Wolga Wolga" (28), "Weib in Flammen" (28), "Diane - Die Geschichte einer Pariserin" (29) and "Die Liebe der Brüder Rott" (29).

With the rise of the sound film his film career came to an end in the early 30s.
He only took part in the German production "Der weisse Teufel" (30) and in the French movie "Brumes de Paris" (32).
