Lili Breda

The actress Lili Breda took part in her first movie in 1918 in "Der Liebe Macht, des Rechtes Sieg" (18).

In the 20s followed few more silent movies.
To these works belong "Tyrannei des Todes" (20) directed by Friedrich Feher with Rudolf Forster, again under the direction of Friedrich Feher "Die rote Hexe" (21) at the side of Karl Etlinger, Fritz Kampers, Erika Glässner, Hermann Vallentin and Rudolf Forster and Friedrich Feher's "Das Haus des Dr. Gaudeamus" (21) with Karl Ehmann and Carl Goetz.

In her last movie "Der alte Fritz, 1. Teil: Friede" (28) directed by Gerhard Lamprecht she played the role of tsarina Katharina II. To her co-stars belonged Otto Gebühr, Julia Serda, Elsa Wagner, Charlotte Ander, Grit Haid and Dina Gralla.

Lili Breda was married with the director Friedrich Feher. Later she committed suicide out of lovesickness and she informed the poet Gottfried Benn, with whom she had a relationship since 1927, shortly before she jumped.
