Joachim Brennecke

The actor Joachim Brennecke never made the great breakthrough in the film business, still he took part in many movies and had the height in the 50's.

He attended the national acting school of the Prussian state theater and worked successfully on German stages in the following years.
He made his film debut in 1940 with the movie "Zwei Welten" (40). Till the end of war followed other movies like "U-Boote westwärts" (41), "Der 5. Juni" (42) and "Ein toller Tag" (45).

He was able to continue his career at the theater after the war. His engagements led him to Munich and Vienna among others.

Also the post-war film reported to him again and he took part in movies like "Der Kahn der fröhlichen Leute" (50), "Pension Schöller" (52), "Die Kaiserin von China" (53) and "Der Vetter aus Dingsda" (53).
His last cinematical work was "Bedaure, falsch verbunden" (62).
